Vimala Hridaya ISC opened its doors in July 2000, thanks to our visionaries Rev.Mother Delphine Mary the then Superior General supported by Sr. Bernadine Mary, Sr Boniface Mary, Sr. Adolf Mary, Sr. Agatha Mary and the FIH Congregation’s belief in transformative education.
Rev. Sr. Shalini Mary led the school as its founding Principal, followed by Rev. Sr. Rexia Mary, whose remarkable tenure spanned over two decades, with Rev. Sr. Adolf Mary succeeding her.
In 2015 Rev. Sr. Shalini Mary returned to guide the school once more. The baton passed to Rev. Sr. Norma Mary in 2020 before being entrusted to Rev. Sr. Herma Mary in 2024.

The outer red ring of Vimala Hridaya ICSE School, symbolize strength and identity. The motto “Knowledge is Love & Power” reflect the institution’s belief in education as both a guiding light and a transformative force. The heart and flame motif suggests compassion, faith, and the illumination of young minds. The flowers in the flame implies the resilience instilled in Vimalites,while the green leaves around it represent growth, life, and hope.
